organizing makeup in small spaces.......

Ok, I have a small space in which I can have a makeup area. Granted, I now am able to have a shelf and table, its still tough to organize in a small space. I was able to get a 3 drawer cart that I use for a majority of my makeup, but otherwise, I have makeup kinda scattered at the moment.  I mostly have it organized, but I realize that I actually need to do better storage on everything.

My house is small, so there isn't a lot of extra room, but I'm trying to make it work so that I can have a small area that is just mine. At this point, it's a corner of my bedroom. My REALLY small bedroom. I don't have a huge mirror like I did in Oklahoma, I don't have the best lighting yet, and honestly, it's not a whole room like I had, but that's the price you have to pay to move back home.

While carving my little niche in my bedroom, I've been watching YouTube videos on how to organize in a small space. Now in the coming months I plan on having it exactly the way that I want it to be, I have to work with what I have at hand. I had a small folding table, a 3 drawer cart, one shelf where I store clothes, a ragular shelf that you see over the table above, and some foam boards. With all of these elements, I was able to make the small usage of space a little better than working out of a suitcase.

I also had purchased some containers to store some things in and a little 5 drawer container where I'm storing concealer, primers, lip and eye pencils and some nail items. So that is helping greatly. While I usually like everything in a specific place, this little "organized" chaos is suiting me well for the moment. In the coming months, I hope to have an actual desk, a mirror, more storage and of course more makeup.
