Well, I'm at it once again, and this time with an Ebook. This book, A Guide to Meaningful and Significant Parenting was good, but not for me. As we know, I have 2 Autistic sons, and 2 "Normal" sons. While I can see using this on kids with the normal range of spectrum, I do not see how I can use this with my autistic children. 2 of my children are easy to manage and work with while the other 2, my autistic babies, aren't.
I understand that he's an educator and I'm just a mom, but, from what I've read, it mentioned nothing about significant parenting to special needs children. I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS A BAD BOOK! I'm saying that it's not for me and for the situation that I live with everyday. I do feel it will help many other parents that are at a loss with their children, but if you're a parent of a special needs child, this isn't for you.
