Urban Decay Naked Palette VS. Crown Brush Unexposed Palette

Two palettes that are so similar in color, packaging and depending where you go, price. Urban Decay Naked palette is $54 at Sephora, Ulta and the Urban Decay website. Crown Brush Unexposed palette is around $22-$55 DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU BUY IT. I got mine for $16 with a discount code from www.crownbrush.us. I was comparing them side by side and even though it seems some of the colors are off, they actually match up in swatches extraordinarily well. While I haven't actually WORN the Unexposed palette yet, the shadows are soft and buttery like the UD Naked Palette.

I do like that there is a cheaper option for the Naked palette, but there are many dupes out there. More recently, the LA Palette by L'Oreal. But, that's another post. I do feel though, that the Unexposed palette from Crown Brush is by far the best dupe out there.

I did notice that the Unexposed palette tends to be more powdery than the Naked palette if you are not careful. But, with a light hand, it's a very workable palette. As you can see from swatches, the colors are so close that it's uncanny.

To the left are the swatches and if you are like me, you will be amazed at the closeness of each swatch.

I was in no way paid to do this review. I spent my own money to do this review.

My Konjac Sponge Review

I have to admit, I've tried a lot of things in my time to help with oil control and acne, and none of them worked really, until I tried this sponge. The Konjac Sponge is not what I thought it would be. Now, I wasn't sure if I used soap with it or not, so I tried it both ways. For 2 days, I used just water. I liked how it was working, but then I did 2 days with Adovia soap. I instantaneously loved the results! The combinations together is like the sky opening up and the angels singing!

Now, the sponge is made out of biodegradable material, which is a plus. The materials are Pure Konjac Powder, water, and Bamboo Charcoal. That's it! Three ingredients to help with your face. I love it.  I love it's everything I feel it should be. Cruelty Free and Vegan, so those that don't use products that are iffy, this is for you!

I have never heard of the Konjac plant until I got this, and so I had to do some reading up on it. As per Wikipedia, my favorite place, it's a plant known in Japan, China and Indonesia. They use it to make  konnyaku (yam cake). It's used in many dishes basically as a filler. Now I don't eat much asian foods, but what I have tasted has been wonderful! This is also known as a diet food! While I'm not going to try it for a diet, I know it's in many types of foods as a filler.

So it make sense to put this into a sponge, because it can be molded into a sponge in jelly form.  So with the research, I do recommend this sponge to you. I use it with soap, but you can use it alone also.  You can find it on amazon.com for a great price of $10.00 and it's worth it, that's for sure! If you have prime, it's only 2 day FREE shipping!

So I dare you to try it and not fall in love with it, cause I know you will!

Review: Healthy Now Nutritionals Colon Cleanse Detox

Ok, I'm a person that usually has no problem talking about anything, but when it comes to poop, it's a little different, but when I agreed to try the Colon Cleanse Detox, I was seriously at a loss. How do you talk about poop? Well, I guess we just plunge right in, right? Literally, plunge right in. LOL.

I got cleaned out, quickly, I might add. I was literally grabbing my butt rushing to the bathroom to go. I swear I had a 5lb. baby out of my butt. But, honestly? I feel better. I feel better than I have in years. How is this possible? Well, I will give credit to this colon cleanse. It better be squeaky clean.

Would I recommend this? YES. I feel everyone needs to detox once in a while and this is one way to do it. From what I've read most of the ingredients are all natural. So, for me, that's a huge plus. You can take up to 4 capsules a day, but I only needed 2. I think I would have a broken butt if I took more than that. I will definitely do another review when the hubby gets home so I can have him try it. I do recommend that if you are on any prescription medication to consult a doctor. You don't want it to interfere with your meds if there's a chance for a reaction.

You can buy it on Amazon for $19.97 and is Prime eligible. You can go straight to the product through this link:  http://bit.ly/healthynow_cclax .

Cont. search for the "Unicorn Piss" AKA Hard to find past cosmetics

As we know from the last time I wrote of the phrase "Unicorn Piss", I was on the hunt for past collections of cosmetics that are no longer available. I have been through many, many, many wholesale cosmetics sites, collectors sites, even EBAY. I have asked questions and I have inspected inventory to make sure everything I've looked at was either legit or fake. So far, I've found ONE company that seems to be on the Up and Up. I was easily able to look at reviews on YouTube, Facebook and around the web as to the authenticity of the products that they offer. Didn't think I would even consider ordering from them without checking them out did you?

At this time, I am not disclosing the company name until I order from them, but I have seen everything from OCC, L'Oreal, Revlon, Tarte, Benefits, even MAC. All reviews are extremely promising, and the prices are something that will not hurt the pocketbook. Unless of course you see too much you want and order it all. LOL. Now, I did notice that some of the products were priced at where you would by straight from the companies and Sephora and Ulta. But then they have an interesting section for factory mistakes. Now, if the mistakes aren't too bad, I think it would be something to look into.

Some of the stuff that's coming are brands like Tarte, Too Face, MAC, PIXI, OPI, and past Wet N' Wild palettes. I am reviewing this website, so I picked out a variation of items to check out. I wrote the company, told them what I was doing and offered to send some stuff for me to review, such as mailing time, packaging, authenticity of the products. Yes, I will be going to retailers in my area to verify that all of these products are genuine before stating a thumbs up or thumbs down.

I am very excited about it. All this because I was searching for rare palettes that I really wanted. I will be sure to include prices and compare them to prices in stores. This way, I can give you an idea of what you can save versus purchasing off of EBAY or in stores for some products. Now, remember, it is NOT a guarantee that these are genuine. I will not know this until I take them to respective store to verify the products. The items should be here within the next couple of days and I will keep you posted. Be sure to watch for the third installment of this post.

REVIEW: Shu Uemura foundation review

Ok, I tried this foundation, Shu Uemura lightbulb highlight, the other day, and quite honestly, I didn't like it for me. On me it lasted about 4 hours before I HAD to get it off, because it was just so greasy on my skin! History on my skin is that it's combination, and more oily than normal. I got a sample in #574 Neutral undertone, and on me, it was more of a yellow undertone. This foundation will be best suited for those with dry skin, since it is so dewy. It does apply easily and at first, on me, it felt great! But then it started to oxidize on me. That isn't a good thing. So after 4 hours I took all my makeup off and just went barefaced for the rest of the day.

You can pick this up of course, online at www.shuuemura-usa.com, where it's priced at $55.00.  They have a discount code of LIGHTBULB for 10% off the lightbulb foundation set.

Remember, just because this product didn't work for me, doesn't mean it won't work for you. So if you are interested in this product, try it and let me know what you think!
